CRS is down and I cannot lodge — will my client be penalised for late filing?

The most consequential open question since go-live. We have not been able to locate a confirmed SSM concession, deadline extension, or penalty waiver covering filings that could not be lodged because CRS was unavailable. That is a statement about what is publicly verifiable, not advice that you are or are not exposed. Statutory deadlines under the Companies Act 2016 are not suspended by a registry being unavailable unless the Registrar says so. Confirm directly with SSM and keep the response in writing. If anyone has written confirmation either way, please post it.
